UPDATE AS OF MARCH 5th:
What We Are Doing To Ensure Your Safety at Vitality Medispa
Our hearts and prayers go out to those who’ve been affected. The health & safety of our patients and employees has always been our top priority! Our facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily as part of our normal business. Over the past few weeks we have increased the frequency and extent of those cleanings, in addition to adding resources like hand sanitizers and tissues throughout our facilities for our patients and employees. We are also ensuring our employees have the information they need to stay healthy and stay home if they are feeling ill.
To protect our community and patients’, we are implementing a mandatory screening for all individuals visiting any of our facilities. Individuals will be initially screened with a questionnaire regarding travel, respiratory symptoms, fevers, and undergo temperature screening before patients are treated. Any individuals who are experiencing acute respiratory illnesses, including symptoms of a fever, cough or shortness of breath, are requested to remain home and reschedule appointments.
If you or someone in your household is sick, please stay home. Get in the habit of frequently washing your hands thoroughly and covering your cough. Depending on your circumstances, consider minimizing your exposure by canceling non-essential travel, avoiding large gatherings, working from home if possible, minimizing handshakes and hugs, and staying home to cook instead of going out to restaurants. One element most forget is to implement hand washing BEFORE utilizing the bathroom. Individuals forget that transmission can easily occur via perineum, not just the face.
As guided by the CDC and many other health agencies, we must protect our community and we may deny services for any individual we identify for any reason. We are confident our facilities continue to be safe for our patients and employees.
Wishing everyone good health!
